Gypsum Board
|
Gypsum board is an interior wall covering made of layers of gypsum and paper. Gypsum is a white mineral made of hydrous calcium sulphate. It is used to make plaster.
Gyptech System's Gypsum Board is a sheet product consisting of non combustible core of natural gypsum with paper surfacing. It's manufactured by calcining gypsum into a plaster, making a slurry from the plaster, and passing the slurry through the machines which shape, set and cut into a board. Gypsum wall board is a type of gypsum board that is designed to be used for walls, ceilings, or partitions and affords a surface suitable to receive decoration. Gypsum board is the most common interior finish used today in the world.

| Gypsum is a mineral consisting primarily of fully hydrated calcium sulfate. Like most minerals and rocks, gypsum is strongest in compression. All other factors being equal, the strength of gypsum board is directly proportional to thickness Gypsum Board takes advantage of the strength inherent in the core and enhances this strength by the use of admixtures and high tensile strength paper facers. The face papers effectively act as composite reinforcement to the core and are an important part of the panel's ultimate strength and performance. |

product of gypsum wallboard delivered by the manufacturer was tested in
accordance with the method A of test methods ASTM C 473-03 Test Methods
for Physical Testing of Gypsum Panel products. The conclusion is that
the testing datum of the product meet the ASTM C 1396/C 1396M-04
Specification for Gypsum Board. |
